Candidates selected finally for the FDO posts will get the Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).

APSC 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.)degree from any institution recognized by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

Age Limit as on 01-01-2025
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age.

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the online application form.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
# SC: 5 years
# ST: 5 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
# PwBD: 10 years

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
